The snow-white project of the Japanese studio Hiroyuki Arima created in cooperation with Urban Fourth is the embodiment of the modern ingenious simplicity, inherent in all Japanese houses. There is something virtual in the shape of a corner cottage: square windows, cubic volumes, which in the sum is formed into the illusion of pixels.
The different sizes of square windows and their asymmetrical arrangement also give the impression of cosmic features of the exterior. This is facilitated by transitions between rooms, non-standard solutions for connecting structures and spaces. As the authors explain, all this is created for the special refraction of light, so that the sun rays spread throughout the house.
