MABIC or the "Maranello Biblioteca Cultura" is located in the north of Italy in the town of Maranello. The project was carried out by Arata Isozaki together with the architect Andrea Maffei.

It has a cultural and social center that accommodates a library in its functionality, a reading room, and a multifunctional space, as well as a book ыещкфпу and administration premises. Some rooms are located below ground level.

The building with a flat roof rises only one-floor level above the ground; In addition, it is surrounded on three sides by a high wall, hiding its uncompromisingly "modern" look from the historical environment. The facades of the library themselves consist essentially of glass.

To provide natural light in the interior, the space between the fence and the facades was turned into a shallow pond whose surface reflects the sun's rays into the reading room. The white color of the floor, ceiling, and furniture contributes to such lighting schemes.
